Elements and Nutrient Reduction System this November. These additions brings the Reef Anabolics offering to a total of eighteen products with expansion set to continue well into the New Year.
Reef Anabolics Complete Elements Formula 1, 2 and 3 builds on the foundations of Reef Anabolics Trace Elements Support System with the addition of Reef Anabolics Macro Elements Range. Reef Anabolics Complete Elements provides an all-in-one plug and play system and is delivered as three separate blends, referred to as Formulas, containing key trace and macro elements crucial for the development of corals and other marine organisms.
Formula 1 replenishes carbonate levels and other key halogen trace elements consumed by growing coral within a reef aquarium. Maintaining a consistent carbonate hardness will allow healthy development within all corals. Formula 1 has a concentration of 5,000dkH.
Formula 2 replenishes calcium and other key metal trace elements consumed by growing coral within a reef aquarium. Calcium is crucial for stony corals, clams and calcareous algae. Formula 2 has a concentration of 50,000ppm.
Formula 3 replenishes magnesium and potassium consumed by growing coral within a reef aquarium. Magnesium is an essential macro element that assists in the regulation of calcium and carbonate concentrations. Formula 3 has a concentration of 25,000ppm.
Reef Anabolics' primary objective with Complete Elements was to give the user something easy, and they have been able to do so by providing a simple system without the guess work.
“The idea behind Complete Elements really was to benefit the beginner reefer or someone who is time poor,” says Kevin Yeo, founder of Reef Anabolics. “It gives someone who is new to reef aquariums the confidence to properly dose their alkalinity, calcium and magnesium in conjunction with eighteen key trace elements”.
One of the standout features of Reef Anabolics Complete Elements is the inclusion of potassium in Formula 3 alongside magnesium, an addition exclusive to the range.
Suffice to say, Reef Anabolics Complete Elements will give the avid reefing enthusiast more time to enjoy their reef aquarium and it is always a true pleasure to be able to optimise time spent appreciating the fruits of one’s labor.
The second release for Reef Anabolics was the Nutrient Reduction System, also known as “NRS”. NRS is a unique blend formulated with key carbon components enabling a controlled biological reduction of nutrients within a reef aquarium.
“It was important to include a nutrient reducing system for Reef Anabolics,” continues Kevin. “The team felt it was a necessary addition to complement our existing products”.
NRS is a safe and natural choice that supports the denitrification process and the reduction of phosphate by boosting the activity of naturally occurring nutrient-reducing bacteria. By using NRS you can achieve accurate adjustments and gain more control to establish optimal nutrient parameters for coral health and development.
It is exciting to see the direction that Reef Anabolics is taking. With a number of developments in the making, the Team RA certainly have an exciting 2020 ahead of them.
“We are all very keen to keep the momentum going and continue to release new products over the next twelve months,” finishes Kevin.
