The Third product release from reef anabolics

Macro Elements - Pharmaceutical Grade

Reef Anabolics has hit another milestone by celebrating its third major product release with the Macro Elements Range. The Reef Anabolics Macro Elements Range

includes six products available in 2kg bags and is made from pharmaceutical grade ingredients to promote an all-round healthier system. Kevin Yeo, founder of Reef Anabolics, says his team’s newest offering is set to provide reefing enthusiasts with the key elements to elevate any reef tank.

“Every reefing enthusiast wants their home aquarium to mirror the beauty of a natural coral reef,” says Yeo. “Not having the vast ocean to harness naturally occurring elements, domestic and commercial aquariums can only rely on quality supplementation to nourish exhausted elements. Our Macro Elements Range can give that to them.”

The Macro Elements range is presented as sleek, generously filled re-sealable bags and includes Magnesium Chloride Hexahyrate, Magnesium Sulfate Heptahydrate, Calcium Chloride Dihydrate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Carbonate and Potassium Chloride. These products balance water chemistry as well as strengthens the biological development of coral, and each bag has their own part to play:

Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate

Magnesium is an essential macro element that assists in the regulation of calcium and carbonate concentrations. Low levels of magnesium will cause calcium and carbonate to bond rapidly. Excessive precipitation will drop calcium and carbonate levels resulting in a false uptake. Reef Anabolics Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate will replenish magnesium consumed by growing coral within a reef aquarium.

Magnesium Sulfate Heptahydrate

Reef Anabolics Magnesium Sulfate Heptahydrate will replenish magnesium consumed by growing coral within a reef aquarium. Used in conjunction with Reef Anabolics Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate will provide an ionically balanced method to magnesium supplementation.

Calcium Chloride Dihydrate

Calcium is an essential macro element for the formation of Aragonite, a carbonate mineral necessary for the building blocks of both SPS and LPS corals. Reef Anabolics Calcium Chloride Dihydrate will replenish calcium consumed by growing coral within a reef aquarium.

Sodium Bicarbonate

Bicarbonate and Carbonate are essential macro elements for the formation of Aragonite, a carbonate mineral necessary for the building blocks of both SPS and LPS corals. Reef Anabolics Sodium Bicarbonate will replenish carbonate levels consumed by growing coral in a reef aquarium. Maintaining a consistent carbonate hardness between 6.5-8.5dKH will allow healthy development within all corals.

Sodium Carbonate

Reef Anabolics Sodium Carbonate will replenish carbonate levels consumed by growing coral in a reef aquarium. It is highly effective for raising pH in smaller doses compared to its counterpart sodium bicarbonate. Maintaining a consistent carbonate hardness between 6.5-8.5dKH will allow healthy development within all corals.

Potassium Chloride

Potassium is an essential macro element for the development and biological processes in corals. It plays a key role in the transportation of nutrients and the production of red and blue pigments within a coral’s soft tissue. Reef Anabolics Potassium Chloride will replenish potassium levels consumed by growing coral in a reef aquarium.

Reef Anabolics Product Manager Robert Dudgeon says the introduction of a new range naturally comes with new questions from Reef Anabolics users.

“Throughout product development we were mindful that our users would want simple, easy to follow instructions on how to implement Reef Anabolics products together. This is why we made Reefing Made Easy,” explains Dudgeon.

Reefing Made Easy lives up to its name. It is a step-by-step guide of how to mix and dose Macro Elements and other Reef Anabolics products that is aesthetically digestible to the reader. Commonly asked questions are also included, which certainly would assist any level of reefer.

Demand for the new Macro Elements range is already strong, with many Reef Anabolics stockists receiving queries about the new offering.

Arj from Addicted2Fish shares, “The stores I am currently working with are keen to get their hands on the latest Reef Anabolics range. Macro Elements is proving to be another great line from a great Australian company”.
